Challenge #235: The Dark Side

Hello Everyone!  It's Michelle and I'm the hostess for this weeks challenge - and our theme is "The Dark Side" (of course, being so close to my favorite time of year, HALLOWEEN, could it have been anything else?)  The rules are simple, just create anything that's dark, Gothic or spooky.

Our sponsor this week is Ching-Chou Kuik and she is offering as the prize to the winner 3 digis of your choice.  You can find her Facebook Group here.

Here are some dark and spooky projects from our design team to help you find some inspiration.

Debbie using Wicked Musing

Ana Isabel using Flame in Black

Jackie using Raven's Soul

Michelle using Halloween Trio

Now lets see your dark side.....

You have until October 24th @ 5AM Easter time to play along with us.

Challenge #222 - Floral Fantasy

Good morning crafty Peeps!  (yes, that is a corny Easter pun)  We hope everyone who celebrates had a lovely Easter, and that the kiddos got lots of good candy to share with Mom and Dad hehe.  It looks like spring might finally be here in the Northeast, as it is 60 and sunny for the whole weekend!  I've noticed a few spring flowers beginning to emerge slowly from their wintery slumber.  In honor of all the spring blooms waiting to open, our new challenge is to use an image with flowers in it, or use flowers as an embellishment.

Not only is the nice weather some good news, but we also have a gorgeous new sponsor!

Ching-Chou Kuik was born in 1979 at Pantai Remis, Perak, Malaysia . She lived in Malaysia, and moved to Taiwan at age of 19, to pursuit her fine art education at National Taiwan Normal University.

In 2003, she graduated with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts (painting).
While in Taipei, Ching-Chou enjoyed being an art teacher for young children from age three to twelve. The originality of the youngsters' pieces inspires her and brings enthusiasm and creativity to her works.  Ching-Chou moved to Seattle with her husband in 2005.

Ching-Chou became a full-time artist and share her art with others since Mar 2006.
She is a nearly full-time mom of a 4 year-old boy, an art teacher for young children, and a part-time artist who hopes for more hours in her days (don't we all!).

Images can be purchased in her Etsy Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/gjzcck

These images are so pretty and dreamy, and full of beautiful flowers, perfect for our theme.  The lucky winner will receive a prize of 3 digis!  The only bad thing, is you will have a hard time choosing!

The team got to work with an image of their choice, so without further ado, here is some flowery inspiration for you.

using Treasure in Hand

Using Bones Imprint

Using So Long Yesterday

Using Orchid

Using Sunshine

Using Embrace the Ocean

Using Moon Journey

Love all the diversity the team gave us for this one.  And now it's your turn!  Put the "petal" to the metal, and show us your most beautiful blooms!
